The Festival at Sandpoint Instrumental Scholarship
This is awarded to top Bonner County student instrumentalist who is planning to pursue a future in music.
Amount of Scholarship: $2,500
funds may be used for any music related expenses including lessons, tuition, and instrument upgrade, etc.
Eligibility: Open to all Bonner County high school students, with priority given to graduating seniors who are continuing their studies in music.
Deadline: Written Applications are due postmarked by Tuesday, April 9th
Live Auditions: Applicants will be contacted to schedule a live audition to take place during the month of May. The winner will perform a solo prior to The Festival's Grand Finale Concert on Sunday, August 11, 2019.
Angels over Sandpoint arts Scholarship
Open to ANY Bonner County student (9th-12th grade) who has a primary interest in the arts. See below for the next few years arts focus on this scholarship.
*2019 Visual Arts
*2020 Dance & Theater
For vocal, dance, or theater: a 2-3 minute video For visual art or writing: (3) samples of your art expression.
All finalists will be scheduled for an interview plus an audition or showing of their art work.
Deadline for Application: Written applications are to be returned to the SHS Counseling Center by April 10th, 2019. by 9:00 a.m.

Charley Packard Memorial Songwriting Scholarship
2019 applications open on February 15!
Amount awarded: $1,000
Funds may be used for any music related expenses, I.e., lessons, tuition, instrument upgrade, etc.
Eligibility: Open to all Bonner County high school seniors
Deadline for Application: Written applications are due postmarked by Tuesday, April 9th to: Festival at Sandpoint PO Box 695, Sandpoint ID 83864 or hand delivered (by same date) to The Festival at Sandpoint Office, 525 Pine St. in Sandpoint

Live Auditions: We will contact all applicants to schedule a live audition to take place during the month of May. The winner will also perform their song at a Festival at Sandpoint concert.
1) Written Application:
Submit written application with lyrics to an original song you have written. You may reproduce the application on your computer.
In order to be considered, you MUST include:
- A copy of your Transcripts
- A letter from someone in your life who knows you well and can attest to your character and passion for music
A dedicated scholarship fund has been established by the Sandpoint Book Babes through The Festival at Sandpoint to memorialize Charley Packard and perpetuate his lifelong mentorship of young singer-songwriters.
Goal: This Scholarship of at least $1,000 will be awarded annually to a local high school student who will also have the opportunity to perform an original song at The Festival at Sandpoint each summer.
