General FAQ


When do you announce your summer line-up?

We are announcing our 2019 line-up a little different this year! Starting February 25th, we will reveal one headliner each Monday! The full line-up will be unveiled on April 1st. Individual tickets go on sale as shows are announced. Season Passes for discounted admission to all 8 shows go on sale October 1st for $239/$299 after December 1st until all 700 passes are gone.

I lost/found something at a Festival concert, where should I go?

Lost and found at the venue is located at the Front Gate. After each concert items are taken to the Festival office at 525 Pine St. and held until claimed.

What if it rains?

The show will go on rain or shine. For more info please see our “Weather Policy.” Severe weather announcement will be made via Facebook and on our website.

We are from out of town, where should we stay?

There are hotels, motels, RV parks and campgrounds in and around the Sandpoint area. Please see the Sandpoint visitors guide for more info and reservations.

Do you have vendors at The Festival?

We do not have craft vendors. We do have spots for 11 food vendors each year. Applications are available in February and vendors are notified by the end of March. For an application please email

Venue FAQ


How do I get there?

The venue is located at War Memorial Field at 855 Ontario St. Sandpoint, ID 83864. For more information or maps please see our “Get Here” page.

Where do I park?

Parking is located on residential streets around our venue but is limited. We highly recommend you use our satellite parking at Sandpoint High School (410 S. Division) and free shuttle service.

Where is the handicap parking?

Handicap parking is located on both sides of Ontario Street in front of the venue and is on a first come first served basis.

What time do I get in line?

We have some die hard fans and they tend to line up early in the morning. We ask you not to arrive before 6AM the day of your show. Please expect to put in some time waiting in line.

Is overnight camping on the sidewalk or Lakeview Park allowed?

Per city ordinance, camping on city sidewalks or parks is prohibited!

What time do the gates open?

On Thursday’s, Friday’s & Saturday's the Early Entry & Sponsor/Patron gates will open at 5:45pm and the General Admission gate will open at 6pm. On family concert day they open at 2:30pm for activities & on the grand finale they open at 4:30pm for the Taste of the Stars wine tasting.

I am disabled. Can I get in early?

Yes, you and one other member of your party are allowed into the venue 10 min before the gates open. You must be seated in the handicap seating area in the grandstands and are not allowed to move closer until the gates have been open for 10 min. Please see the front gate upon arrival and an usher will help you locate this section.

What time does the box office open?

The box office opens 1 hour before the gates each night.

What type of seating is there?

All seating is General Admission and is on a first come, first served basis. In front of the stage is for blanket and short lawn chairs, behind that is a section for taller lawn chairs. There is also covered grandstand seating.

Are people going to stand/ dance in front of me?

The acts we book play upbeat music, and people here love to dance! Choose where to sit depending on what you expect from your fellow concert goers. If you don’t like people standing up or dancing near you, please consider choosing a spot set back from the stage with good sight lines.

What is early Entry? Are there still Numbers?

Do I need to bring a lawn chair?

You can bring your own or you can rent low and high chairs for $3. Please be advised that these chairs do not fit in the grandstands. If you plan to sit in the grandstands bring a stadium chair from home or purchase a commemorative Festival stadium chair on site. These chairs are also on a first come first served basis and do have a tendency to run out on show close to or at capacity.

Is there food available?

Yes, we have 13 food booths and 2 full service bars. You can also bring in a picnic basket/cooler with your own food and drink, including alcohol.

What am I not allowed to bring?

No weapons, drugs or non-certified service animals! You will be scanned by security before entering the venue.

What about my service dog?

Service animals require documentation at the gate.

Can I bring a cooler?

Yes, you are allowed to bring in your own food and drink, including alcohol from home. Please note security will need to inspect all belongings brought into the venue.

Are my children welcome at the Festival?

As a courtesy to your fellow festival audience members, please carefully consider whether your child is mature enough to enjoy an evening concert without disturbing those around you. Children are not allowed to "run wild" at the Festival - They must be supervised by an adult during the concerts.

Can I put my blanket in the dancing area?

Yes, you are allowed blankets in the dancing area. Just know that it may be trampled once the music starts.

Is there an ATM on site?

Yes, there are two. One located at the front gate and one by the Lakeside Lounge.

Can I dock my boat at the Festival?

There is a public launch area where you can drop people off but, there is no public docks available for boats.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is allowed only in the designated area. (venue map)

Can I take photos?

Some artists have photograph restrictions. Personal, non-commercial photography is allowed.


Ticketing FAQ


When do tickets go on sale?

Season Passes go on sale each year on October 1st. Individual tickets will go on sale as the headliners are announced, starting February 25, 2019.

What is early entry? Can I add it to my season pass?

Our Early Entry tickets allow you to enter the venue through the lake side gate 15 minutes before General Admission. These tickets are available every night except Sunday shows. There are only 300 available per show and sell out quickly. To add Early Entry to your Season Pass for an additional $25 per show, please contact the office at (208)265-4554.

What is a “City Parks Fee?”

The city parks fee is a $1.25 per ticket accessed by the City of Sandpoint on each ticket sold to help maintain the parks.

I bought my ticket but I can’t make it to the show. Can I get a refund?

No, we do not refund tickets for any reason. Tickets are transferable, so you are welcome to sell your ticket on your own.

My ticket was lost/stolen/destroyed. Can I get a replacement?

No, we are not responsible for lost/stolen/destroyed tickets and they can not be replaced. If you have opted in to print tickets at home you may reprint or see the box office for assistance.

I left my tickets a home. Can I get a replacement?

You can reprint your tickets through EventBrite. For physical tickets please see the box office for assistance.

Can I give my tickets to someone else?

Yes, your tickets are 100% transferable including season passes. It must be the original ticket. No scans or photo copies.

Why don’t you offer youth/senior pricing for all the concerts?

Our Non-profit status and limited venue capacity preclude us from offering youth/senior ticket pricing to all concerts.

How do I get seats in the Patron/Sponsor Area?

You can get 2 or more season passes in the reserved seating area with a donation of $1,500 or more. For more information on this opportunity and the benefits please see our “Giving” page.

My tickets are on “will call,” where can I pick them up?

All “will call” tickets are held at our office at 525 Pine St. in Sandpoint then moved to the box office at Memorial Field two hours before the gates open. You can pick them up anytime.

Can I purchase tickets through at 3rd party vendor?

Beware of counterfeit tickets. We can only guarantee purchases from, by calling (208) 265-4554, or coming into the office at 525 Pine St.
